Seton Hill made the trip across the state for a PSAC Crossover battle as they took on West Chester on Saturday afternoon.

West Chester pulled away in the second half as they defeated the Griffins by the score of 69-56.  The Griffins fall to 9-5 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC.

The first five minutes of the contest was a back and forth battle as there were three ties and three lead changes.  Back to back baskets, including a three pointer from Gage Lattimore and a two from Brian Belade gave SHU a 14-11 lead with 12:48 left in the half.  Ryan Meis hit a three and Edir Ortiz followed with a basket as the Griffins pushed their advantage to 19-13 midway through the half.

West Chester responded with a 11-2 run over the next five minutes as they took a 24-21 lead over the Griffins.  Camden Brewer ended the run with a three to tie the score at 24.  West Chester took a 30-29 lead into the halftime break.

The Golden Rams opened the second half with a 9-2 run as they built a 39-31 lead just over three minutes into the half.  A three from James Rice cut the lead to 44-39 with 12:58 to play.  West Chester answered back with an 8-0 run in less than a minute as they took a 52-39 lead with just over 11 minutes to play.

A 4-0 run from the Golden Rams gave them their largest lead of the game, 56-43, with 6:35 to play.  Gage Lattimore hit a three to cut the lead back to ten points with 6:15 left.

Kedrick Curtis led the Griffins with 13 points.  Lattimore added 12 points.  Rice just missed double figures with nine points.
