Seton Hill hosted fifth ranked Gannon on Saturday afternoon in a PSAC West contest at DSG Field in Greensburg.
The #5 Golden Knights were just a little too much as they scored a two pairs of goals in a short period of time as they defeated the Griffins by the score of 4-2. SHU is now 4-2-3 overall and 2-2-2 in the west. Gannon is now 6-0-2 overall and 4-0-2 in the west. Â
Seton Hill took an early lead on Gannon less than eight minutes into the contest.Â

Corynna Rotoli who tapped the ball into the net for the 1-0 lead for the Griffins. A little over ten minutes later, Gannon scored a pair of goals in just 23 seconds to take a 2-1 lead over the Griffins. Â
A little over ten minutes into the second half, the Griffins tied the game at two. After drawing a foul in the box, Springer buried her PK to tie the score at two with 33:55 to play. Just two minutes later, Gannon answered to retake the lead. A little over two minutes later Gannon extended their lead to 4-2. Â
Springer finished with a goal and assist.Â
Katie Pazdziorko led SHU with two shots on goal.Â
Sydney Caldwell made four saves in net. Â
Seton Hill returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Edinboro. Â
