Seton Hill hosted Lock Haven in a PSAC West matchup on Saturday afternoon at DSG Field in Greensburg, PA.
The Griffins scored a goal in each half in route to a 2-0 win over the PSAC Western leading Bald Eagles. SHU is now 9-4-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the west. Lock Haven is now 8-5-1 overall and 5-0-2 in the west.Â
SHU took the lead in the first half with less than five minutes to play in the half.Â
Nils Heinrich played a ball to
James Aubrey and Aubrey deposited it into the back of the net for a 1-0 Griffin lead. Lock Haven outshot the Griffins 6-5 in the half. Â
Twenty minutes into the second half
Tristan Wilson extended the Griffin lead to 2-0.Â
Brandon Knapp assisted on the goal. Â
Jonathan Leary finished with five saves for the shutout win.
The Griffins will host now PSAC West leading Gannon on Wednesday afternoon.
