Seton Hill hosted Clarion on Wednesday afternoon in a PSAC West matchup at DSG Field in Greensburg.
The Griffins scored a pair of goals in the first six minutes of the contest and secured a 3-0 victory over the Golden Eagles. SHU is now 4-1-3 overall and 2-1-2 in the west. Â
It did not take the Griffins long to get on the scoreboard in this contest as they scored just 2:36 into the contest. Samathan Hallo got the Griffins on the board first with
Corynna Rotoli and
Jessica Molitoris assisting on the goal. A little over three minutes later the Griffins increased their lead to 2-0.Â
Jackie Massof took a pass from Hallo and after a one touch beat the keeper to the far post.Â
Abby Myers also assisted on the goal. The Griffins outshot the Eagles 8-3 in the half. Â
With a little over 16 minutes to play in the second half, the Griffins extended their lead to 3-0 on a
Mikaela Small goal.Â
Mikayla Moyer assisted on the goal. Â
Sydney Caldwell recorded five saves in the shutout win.
SHU will host #5 Gannon on Saturday in another PSAC West contest. Â
