Seton Hill continued PSAC West action on Wednesday afternoon as they hosted Indiana (PA) in Greensburg.
The Crimson Hawks scored a goal in each half to defeat the Griffins by a 2-0 score. SHU drops to 2-3-1 overall and 1-3-1 in PSAC West action. IUP improves to 2-2-1 overall and 2-2 in the west.
IUP got on the scoreboard late in the first half as they scored a goal with just over six minutes to play in the half. The Griffins held a 5-3 advantage in shots in the half.
The Griffins continued to press in the second half but could not get the tying goal. IUP took advantage of the Griffins continuing to push and were able to sneak behind the Griffin defense for their second goal of the contest with less than four minutes to play.
Lindsey Pazdziorko made four saves in net for the Griffins.
Victoria Rothrauff led the Griffins with five shots.
Kilee Coatney added three shots.
The Griffins will return to action next Wednesday evening when they travel to Clarion for a PSAC West contets under the lights.
