The Griffins continued PSAC West play on Saturday afternoon as they traveled to Johnstown for a matchup with Pitt Johnstown.
Seton Hill scored a pair of goals late in the first half and were able to defeat the Mountain Cats by a 3-0 score. SHU is now 2-2-1 overall and 1-2-2 in PSAC West play.
SHU took a 1-0 lead late in the first half on a goal from
Samantha Hallo with just over nine minutes to play in the half.
Victoria Rothrauff assisted on the goal for the Griffins. With four minutes to play in the half,
Emma Rain scored to give SHU a 2-0 lead.
Elizabeth Adams assisted on the goal.
The Griffins outshot the Cats 11-0 in the half. They also won the corner battle by the score of 7-0.
SHU added an insurance goal in the second half with about 18 minutes to play.
Jessica Molitoris scored off an assist from
Madisyn Ramacciotti.
Lindsey Pazdziorko and
Sydney Caldwell each recorded a save in the shutout win.
Corynna Rotoli led SHU with three shots on goal.
Lucia Lorenzo Parga added two shots on goal.
SHU will continue PSAC West play on Wednesday when they host Indiana (PA).
