Seton Hill made the short trip to California (PA) for a PSAC West matchup under the lights against the Vulcans on Wednesday evening.
California scored an early goal and the Griffins answered back later in the half and the teams played to a 1-1 tie. The Griffins are now 1-2-1 overall and 0-2-1 in PSAC West action.
The Vulcans got on the board first in the 8th minute as they took the early 1-0 lead. The Griffins answered back just over 13 minutes later off a corner kick.
Emma Rain roofed a corner kick from
Mikayla Moyer into the top of the net to tie the score at one in the 21st minute.
Seton Hill outshot the Vulcans 3-2 in the first half.
The Griffins outshot the Vulcans by a 3-1 margin in the second half but could not find the back of the net.
Rain and
Madison Carr each finished with three shots, two on goal.
Seton Hill will travel to Pitt Johnstown on Saturday for another PSAC West contest.
