Seton Hill closed out their four game set with Indiana (PA) with a doubleheader in Indiana on Saturday afternoon.

The Griffins picked up a pair of extra inning wins as they completed the four game sweep of the Crimson Hawks.  SHU won game one, 9-3, in nine innings.  The Griffins then won game two by the score of 5-3 in eight innings.  SHU is now 24-7 overall and 12-0 in the PSAC West.  Seton Hill has now won 17 in a row.

It did not take the Griffins long to get on the scoreboard in game one.  Jack Oberdorf homered to left field with one out in the inning.  Max Mandler and Braden Durham singled with Mandler scoring on a Logan Vietmeier sacrifice fly as SHU took the early 2-0 lead.  IUP scored an unearned run in the third inning to cut the Griffins lead to 2-1.

SHU added another run in the fourth. Owen Sabol led off the inning with a bunt base hit and later scored when Jack Whalen reached on a fielders choice.

The Crimson Hawks tied the game at three in the bottom of the sixth.

The game remained tied at three until the ninth inning.  Jared Dowey singled to lead off the inning, advancing to second on an error.  Joe Fiedor followed with an RBI single as SHU took a 4-3 lead.  Jack Whalen reached on an error and both Whalen and Fiedor stole a bag.  Oberdorf drove in both runners with a single as SHU took a 6-3 lead.  Later in the inning, Oberdorf scored on a balk and the Griffins closed out the scoring with a two out, two RBI single from Dowey.

Blake Barker pitched 3.2 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.  He allowed just two hits and struck out five.  Durham paced the offense with three hits.  Oberdorf, Mandler, Vietmeier, Sabol and Dowey each added two hits.

IUP took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins in the third inning of game two with an unearned run.  The Griffins retook the lead in the top of the fourth.  Vincenzo Rauso was hit by a pitch.  Vietmeier reached on a bunt base hit to put two runners on.  Dowey singled to drive in two runners and give SHU a 3-1 lead.

The Crimson Hawks used a single and a homer in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game at three.

The Griffins went ahead in the eighth.  Mandler opened the inning with a double and later scored on a balk to give SHU a 4-3 lead.  Vietmeier added a sacrifice fly to give SHU a two run lead.

Caiden Wood earned the win with 1.2 scoreless innings of relief.  He allowed two hits and struck out three.  Dowey and Fiedor each had two hits.
