Seton Hill concluded their four game PSAC West with the Rock with a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon at Slippery Rock.
The Griffins took game one by the score of 3-1 over the Rock. Seton Hill completed the sweep of the Rock with a 5-3 win in game two. SHU is now 33-8 overall and a perfect 20-0 in PSAC West play. The Griffins have now won 26 of their last 27 contests.
The Griffins broke through in the third inning of game one.
Joe Fiedor led off the inning with a single to center.
Jack Whalen singled to put runner on first and third. The pair executed a double steal with Fiedor scoring on the play.
Vincenzo Rauso was hit by a pitch and
Jack Oberdorf followed with an RBI double. Rauso scored when
Logan Vietmeier reached on a fielders choice as SHU took a 3-0 lead.
The Rock got one run back in the fifth as they cut the Griffins lead to 3-1.
Aidan Layton earned the win. He went six innings, giving up four hits while striking out five.
Caiden Wood earned the save with a scoreless seventh. Oberdorf and Fiedor each had two hits.
SHU took a 1-0 lead over the Rock in the first inning of game two. Rauso drew a one out walk then stole second and third and scored on an RBI ground out from Oberdorf. Doubles from Rauso and Vietmeier increased the Griffins lead to 2-0 in the third inning.

Max Mandler and Fiedor drew three straight walks with Fiedor's forcing in the third run.
The Rock hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fourth to cut the Griffins lead to 3-1. Oberdorf responded with a leadoff homer in the top of the fifth inning to give SHU a 4-1 lead. Slippery Rock answered with a run in the bottom of the fifth to cut the lead back to two. They scored on a balk in the sixth as the Griffins lead was cut to 4-3.
SHU added an insurance run in the seventh. Oberdorf drew a leadoff walk and went to second on a sacrifice bunt from Vietmeier. Sabol singled to center field to score Oberdorf and increase the SHU lead back to two.
Andino Vecchiolla earned the win, going 4.1 innings and striking out two.
Blake Barker earned the save. Vietmeier had two hits and Oberdorf drove in two.
The Griffins will take a break from PSAC West play with a non conference matchup at Wheeling on Tuesday.
