Seton Hill continued PSAC West play with a road contest at Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon.

The Griffins got off to a slow start before an 8-1 third quarter gave them a nice lead and the Griffins were able to defeat Slippery Rock by a 15-11 score. SHU is now 11-3 overall and 9-0 in the PSAC West. Griffins have now won nine in a row.Â

The Rock scored the first two goals of the contest as they took a 2-0 lead with 11:50 to play in the first quarter. SHU answered back with three straight goals to take a 3-2 lead.Â
Skylar Orlowski opened the scoring for SHU followed by goals from
Grace Agnello and
Piper Conlan at the 2:40 mark. The Rock scored the final goal of the quarter to tie the score at three.Â

Megan Bunker scored with 13:36 to play in the second as SHU took a 4-3 lead. The Rock scored two straight as they took a 5-4 lead with 10:45 to play. Agnello and
Carleigh Sutfin scored 52 seconds apart to put the Griffins back in front 6-5 with 9:06 to play before the half. The Rock scored the final two goals of the half as they took a 7-6 halftime lead.Â

Agnello opened up the scoring in the second half, scoring just 34 seconds into the half. Slippery Rock answered with a goal to take an 8-7 lead with 13:27 to go. The Griffins then scored the next seven goals as they took a 14-8 lead at the end of the quarter. Sutfin and Udovicic scored twice with Bunker, Conlan and
Hannah Thompson each scoring once.Â

The Rock outscored the Griffins 3-1 in the fourth quarter with
Ella Wroblewski scoring the lone Griffin goal.Â

Agnello led the offense with three goals and three assists. Sutfin added three goals. Conlan and Udovicic each scored twice and added an assist.Â
Elizabeth Tamasitis added two assists. Â
Kyleigh Hessian recorded eight saves to earn the win.

Seton Hill will host Lock Haven on Wednesday in another PSAC West contest.Â
