Seton Hill continued PSAC West play with a contest in Erie against Mercyhurst on a windy Saturday afternoon.

The Griffins outscored the Lakers in each quarter as they earned a 13-5 win. SHU is now 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the PSAC West while the Lakers fall to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in the PSAC West.Â

Mercyhurst opened the scoring as they took an early 1-0 lead over the Griffins.Â
Ruby DePalma scored at the 7:31 mark of the quarter as SHU tied the score at one. Just 11 seconds later
Piper Conlan made it 2-1 for the Griffins.Â
Megan Bunker closed out the scoring for the Griffins in the quarter.Â

The Lakers again opened the scoring in the second period as they cut the SHU lead to 3-2. Hanna Thompson,
Mila Udovicic and
Elizabeth Tamasitis each scored in the second quarter as SHU built a 6-2 halftime lead.Â

For the third straight quarter the Lakers scored the opening goal. Conlan's second pushed the SHU lead back to 7-3 with 9:35 left in the third. Just over a minute later, the Lakers cut the lead to 7-4.Â
Skylar Orlowski and Tamasitis scored to close out the quarter as SHU took a 9-4 lead into the fourth.Â

Carleigh Sutfin scored just over a minute into the fourth quarter as SHU extended its lead to six. Conlan scored two more goals in the period with
Grace Agnello adding the final Seton Hill goal.Â

Conlan led SHU with four goals and an assist. Tamasitis added two goals and an assist. Orlowski had a goal and three assists. Sutfin finished with a goal and assist.Â
Kyleigh Hessian made three saves in net.Â
