Seton Hill closed out the home portion of their schedule as they hosted Clarion in a PSAC West matchup on Tuesday afternoon at DSG Field.
The Griffins scored once in the first half then added two more in the second half for a 3-0 victory over the Golden Eagles. With the win, the Griffins are now 6-8-1 in the west.
With the win over Clarion and the additional results on Tuesday, the Griffins clinched the fourth and final playoff spot in the PSAC West. The Griffins will travel to the top seed in the west on Monday in the PSAC Quarterfinals. Â
With just under nine minutes to play in the first half, the Griffins took a 1-0 lead over Clarion.Â

Victoria Rothrauff who beat the Clarion keeper for a 1-0 lead. SHU outshot Clarion 5-2 in the first half. Â
Just over twenty minutes into the second half the Griffins increased their lead to 2-0.Â
Madisyn Ramacciotti connected with
Jessica Molitoris whose cross found
Katie Pazdziorko cutting across the box and Pazdziorko found the back of the net to give SHU a 2-0 lead. Less than five minutes later, Rothrauff scored her second of the game from Molitoris as SHU pushed their lead to 3-0. Â
Rothrauff led SHU with two goals. Molitoris added two assists.Â
The Griffins close out the regular season on Friday at Edinboro.Â
