The women's soccer team traveled to Indiana, PA for an important PSAC West battle with the Crimson Hawks on Wednesday afternoon.
Seton Hill scored a goal in the second half as they defeated the Crimson Hawks 1-0 to earn an important three points in the west. SHU is now 5-7-1 in the west while IUP falls to 3-8-2.
The Griffins have 16 points and are currently in the fourth and final playoff spot in the PSAC West. Â
Neither team was able to score in the first half of the contest. The Griffins had five shots in the half to three for IUP. SHU had four corner kicks in the half. Â
The Griffins took a 1-0 lead in the 65th minute on a goal from
Samantha Hallo. Â
Lindsey Pazdziorko finished with two saves in net for the shutout win. Â
The Griffins will host Gannon on Saturday afternoon. Â
