Seton Hill traveled to Erie for a PSAC West matchup with Gannon on Wednesday evening.

Seton Hill led from start to finish as they cruised to an 84-67 PSAC West road victory at Gannon. SHU is now 12-7 overall and 7-6 in the PSAC.Â

The Griffins got off to a fast start as they built a quick 7-2 lead just over two minutes into the contest.Â
Drew Green scored the first four points for the Griffins before
Sean Dillon hit a three pointer. The Griffins were able to extend their lead to ten points on the three pointer from
Ryan Meis at the 11:57 mark of the first half.Â

Five quick points from Gannon cut the Griffins lead to 23-18 with eight minutes remaining in the half.Â
Jimmy Moon answered right back for the Griffins with a three pointer to extend the lead back to eight. Meis followed with a three pointer and the Griffins built their lead to 29-18. Gannon scored four straight before
James Rice drained a three and Moon followed with a basket to put the Griffins in front 36-22 at the under four media timeout. Seton Hill led 42-28 at the half.Â

Samuel Tabe and Green made baskets to open the second half it was all
Jimmy Moon as he hit three straight three pointers to extend the Griffins lead to 55-35 less than four minutes into the second half. Over a three minute stretch the Griffins hit four three pointers as they extended their lead to 73-49 with 9:22 to play in the second half. Dillon hit the first two with Meis and Moon hitting the second two.Â

Gannon was able to get to within ten points late in the contest but Dillon hit five free throws down the stretch to close out the contest.Â

Seton Hill shot 53% from the floor and hit 14 three pointers in the win.Â

Dillon led the Griffins with 24 points. Moon finished with 20 points. Green also reached double figures with 11 points. Tabe pulled down 10 rebounds.Â

The Griffins will make a return trip to Erie on Saturday for a PSAC West matchup with Mercyhurst.Â
