Seton Hill took a break from PSAC West play as they traveled to South Euclid, OH for a non conference matchup with Notre Dame (OH) on Wednesday afternoon.
The Falcons scored twice in the first half and added a goal in the second half as they defeated the Griffins by the score of 3-1. Â
Notre Dame took an early lead on the Griffins with a goal just over three minutes into the contest. The Griffins responded and tied the score at one in the fifteenth minute.Â
Brice Gandhi scored a goal from
Nadeem Al-Okla and
Cai Pritchard which tied the score. The Falcons scored a goal midway through the half as they took a 2-1 lead into halftime. The Falcons held a 10-7 lead in shots in the half. Each team had a corner kick and
Nathaniel Huff made three saves in the half. Â
Nearly 70 minutes into the contest, the Falcons extended their lead to 3-1. Â
Huff finished with three saves while
Bobby White made two saves in 23 minutes.Â
Archie Lock led the Griffins with four shots.Â
Josh Roberts and
Brice Gandhi each added two shots.Â
The Griffins will host Pitt Johnstown on Saturday afternoon.
