Seton Hill hosted Pitt Johnstown in a PSAC West battle on Saturday afternoon in Greensburg, PA.
The Griffins scored three times in each of the two halves as they rolled to a 6-0 win over the Mountain Cats. SHU is now 2-1-1 in PSAC West play on the season. Â
SHU took the lead over UPJ in the 17th minute of the contest.Â
Fletcher Amos finished off
Luc Holden's corner kick as the Griffins took a 1-0 lead. Fifteen minutes later
George Demetriades finished a penalty kick to put the Griffins in front 2-0. With 2:13 to play in the first half, the Griffins extended their lead to 3-0.Â
Brice Gandhi finished off a pass from
Moritz Stuehn as SHU extended their lead to three.
Seton Hill held a 13-0 advantage in shots in the first half. SHU also had five corner kicks to none for UPJ. Â
Just 1:12 into the second half, the Griffins extended their lead to 4-0.Â
Elias Vangen put in a
Yuriy Kryskiv corner kick as SHU built their lead to four. A little over three minutes later
Nadeem Al-Okla scored on a long ball as SHU led 5-0. Late in the contest, Gandhi scored his second of the game, this one from
Benjamin Nicholson for the final goal for the Griffins. Â
SHU outshot the Mountain Cats 32-4 in the contest. They had eight corners to one for UPJ.
Bobby White picked up the shutout with two saves in net. Amos led SHU with six shots.Â
Archie Lock finished with five. Â
Seton Hill will conclude non conference play with a road trip to Queens College on Wednesday evening. Â
