Seton Hill returned to PSAC West play on Wednesday afternoon when they traveled to Erie, PA for a matchup with Mercyhurst.
The Lakers scored a goal late in the second half to defeat the Griffins by a 1-0 score. The Griffins fall to 0-1-1 in the west while the Lakers improve to 2-0-0 in the division.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first 45 minutes of the contest. The Lakers outshot the Griffins by a 6-3 margin in the half. Mercyhurst had the two corner kicks in the half.
Nathaniel Huff made two saves in the half.
In the second half, the Lakers scored with just four minutes to play in the half. SHU had four shots in the second half, all of them on goal.

Anthony Panko each had two shots in the contest. Huff recorded three saves in the contest.
The Griffins will host CalU on Saturday afternoon.
