Seton Hill continued their Erie road trip with a PSAC West battle with Gannon on Saturday afternoon.
Gannon scored in the first half and the Griffins were able to answer back in the second half for a 1-1 tie. SHU is now 3-1-3 overall and 1-1-3 in the west. Gannon 4-1-2 overall and 3-0-2 in the west.
Neither team was able to score until the 29
th minute when Gannon scored the first goal of the contest. Gannon carried the 1-0 lead into the halftime break. SHU held a 6-5 advantage in shots in the half. The Griffins had four corner kicks to one for the Knights.
The Griffins were able to even the contest in the 74
th minute.
Corynna Rotoli tied the score at one with a goal.
Alexis Garia added an assist on the goal.
Kenyon finished the contest with seven saves.
Natalie Maver led the Griffins with four shots.
Victoria Rothrauff and Rotoli each had two.
SHU will continue PSAC West play on Wednesday afternoon when they host CalU.
