Griffins, Gannon Play to 2-2 Tie in PSAC West Opener

Seton Hill and Gannon began PSAC West play on Saturday evening under the lights in Erie, PA.

Each team scored once in each half as the teams began conference play with a 2-2 tie. 

Benjamin Nicholson got the Griffins on the board just 1:06 into the contest with the opening goal of the game.  Fletcher Amos assisted on the goal.  With less than five minutes to play in the half, Gannon tied the score at one.  

Gannon scored the first goal of the second half, less than four minutes in, as they took a 2-1 lead.  Cai Pritchard scored in the 69th minute to tie the contest at two.  Anton Dupont Linden assisted on the goal. 

Pritchard led SHU with two shots on goal.  Nathaniel Huff recorded three saves in net.

SHU will host Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon.
