Seton Hill played its first of two PSAC Crossovers on Saturday afternoon when they traveled to Shippensburg.

The Raiders took advantage of four Griffin turnovers and used a 100 yard kickoff return in a 36-17 victory over the Griffins.  SHU falls to 0-2 on the season.

Just 1:24 into the contest, the Raiders got a pick six, a 75 yard interception return to take an early 7-0 lead over the Griffins.  SHU responded with an 18 play drive that ended in a 34 yard Luke Hauger field goal that trimmed the lead to 7-3 with 4:48 to play in the quarter.

On their first possession of the second quarter, the Griffins were called for a holding penalty in the end zone which resulted in a safety and a 9-3 Shippensburg lead.  The Raiders then drove 55 yards on the next possession, ending with a two yard touchdown run to put the Raiders in front 16-3 with 11:06 to play.  Late in the quarter, Todd Phillips caught a 15 yard TD pass and JaiQuawn McGriff added a 65 yard TD catch which cut the Raider lead to 16-10 with 2:36 to play in the half.  Shippensburg then returned the kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown as they extended their lead to 24-10 at the half.

The Raiders extended their lead to 30-10 on their first possession of the second half.  They used a 42 yard touchdown pass to increase the lead.  Justice Griffin blocked the extra point.  McGriff scored his second touchdown of the game, this one late in the third quarter, on an eight yard touchdown run that cut the lead to 30-17 with 2:31 to play in the third.

Shippensburg scored their final touchdown of the contest with 6:47 to play in the contest on a seven yard touchdown pass.

McGriff led the Griffins with 162 total yards and two touchdowns.  He ran for 88 yards and a touchdown and added three catches for 74 yards and a TD.  Mark Bails added 50 yards receiving.  Jaylen McDuffie finished with 11 total tackles including three for loss.  Narrio Walks added seven catches.
