Seton Hill began their final weekend of the regular season with a dual match in Fairmont, WV against the Falcons.
The Griffins won nine of the ten matches in route to a 45-3 victory over the Falcons. SHU is now 8-5 in dual matches this season.
SHU opened the dual with a pair of forfeit wins.
Derrick Chandler-Christie and
Brady Sherback each won their matches by forfeit.
Joel Cawoski got the Griffins six points on the mat with a win by fall at 141 pounds. Cawoski got the win by fall in just 1:29.
Dominic Williams followed with a 6-1 decision win at 149 pounds.
Jimmy Baxter then earned a quick win by fall at 157 pounds. He earned the pin in 1:26.
The Griffins then got two wins by decision.
Colby Romjue won 5-0 at 165 pounds.
Luke Ewing then got a 11-4 decision win at 174 pounds.
The final two Griffins wins came by pinfall.
Brandon Matthews won by fall in 1:42 at 184 pounds.
Brendan Finnerty then followed with a win by fall at 197 pounds. He won his match in just 2:03.
SHU will close out the regular season portion of their schedule on Saturday when they travel to Lake Erie for a 7 PM dual match.
