2018-19 (Freshman)
Finished sixth at 125 pounds at the Super Region I Championships . . . finished sixth at 125 pounds at the PSAC Championships . . . ended the season with seven wins

Before SHU:
wrestled for Westmont Hilltop where he was a four-year starter . . . During his time at Westmont, Derrick qualified for the PIAA Class AA State Tournament four times and took home two eighth place finishes . . . He racked up 108 career victories along with a runner up and third place finish at the Southwest Regional Championships
