Women's Basketball Drops PSAC Crossover Contest

Seton Hill closed out this set of PSAC Crossover matchups with a home contest with Kutztown on Monday afternoon.

Kutztown hit thirteen three pointers and the Griffins could not overcome that in a 67-55 loss to the Golden Bears.  SHU drops to 9-4 overall and 2-2 in the PSAC while Kutztown improves to 4-6 overall and 3-1 in the PSAC.

The Golden Bears hit two three pointers as they took a 10-3 lead less than four minutes into the contest.  A jumper from Courtney Tomas and a basket from Alie Seto trimmed the lead to 10-7 with 2:31 to play.  Kutztown took a 15-10 lead into the second quarter.

The second quarter was a very low scoring quarter as the Golden Bears outscored the Griffins by an 8-6 score as they took an 23-16 lead at the halftime break.
