Seton Hill completed their homecoming weekend with a PSAC West matchup with Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon in Greensburg.
The Griffins were able to sweep the Rock to complete their homecoming weekend with a 2-0 record. SHU is now 12-7 overall and 3-5 in the PSAC West.
SHU opened the match with a 25-23 win in the first set. They had an easier time with the Rock in set two as they defeated the Rock 25-15. The Griffins completed the sweep with a 25-16 third set win.
Paige Cole led the Griffins with 13 kills,
Payton Rodberg added 12 kills for the Griffins.
Kaitlyn Lipps finished with eight kills.
Abby Oesterling and
Riley Rock ran the Griffin offense which hit .339 in the match. Oesterling finished with 22 assists while Rock added 20.
Katie Koziarz had three blocks to lead the Griffins.
Carrie Leazer had a match high 17 digs. Cole made it a double double with 13 digs. Rock added niine.
SHU will comtinue PSAC West play on Tuesday night when they travel to Clarion for a 6 PM start.
