Seton Hill began round two of the PSAC West schedule with a road trip to PSAC West leading Clarion on Tuesday evening.
The Griffins were able to take the second set to even the match at one but Clarion won the final two sets for a 3-1 win over the Griffins.
Clarion opened the match by taking the first set by a 25-20 score. SHU responded with a 25-23 win in the second set to even the match at one. The Griffins won the final three points of the set to tie the match. The Golden Eagles then ended the match with consecutive 25-20 wins in the third and fourth set.
Elizabeth Kolkowski led the Griffins with nine kills.
Paige Cole finished with eight.
Abby Oesterling paced SHU with 15 assists.
Riley Rock added 14.
Mackenzie English led SHU with nine blocks. Kolkowski finished with eight. Cole had a team high 12 digs.
Carrie Leazer added 10.
The Griffins will host WV Wesleyan on Wednesday evening in a non conference matchup.
