Seton Hill continued PSAC West play as they hosted Gannon on Saturday afternoon.
SHU took a 1-0 lead but the Knights answered early in the second half as the teams played to a 1-1 tie. SHU is now 6-3-6 overall and 4-2-6 in the PSAC West. Gannon is 9-2-4 overall and 8-1-4 in the west. Â
The Griffins took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute as
Jessica Molitoris took a feed from
Victoria Rothrauff and
Mikayla Moyer and beat the keeper low for an early SHU lead. SHU held that 1-0 lead at the half. Gannon held a 4-2 advantage in shots in the half with
Grace Kenyon making two saves in the half. Â
Just over five minutes into the second half, Gannon tied the score at one with a goal. Â
Kenyon made six saves in net to preserve the tie.
SHU will host Mercyhurst on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 PM.
