Seton Hill hit the road for the first time this season as they made the trip into West Virginia for a non conference matchup with Alderson Broaddus. The game was scoreless at the half but the Battlers founf the back of the net in the second half on a PK for a 1-0 win over the Griffins. SHU drops to 1-1 on the season.
Alderson Broaddus controlled play for most of the first half of the contest as they held a 9-1 advantage in shots in the half. SHU keeper
Bobby White made four saves in the half to keep the game scoreless. AB held a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks in the period.
Anthony Panko got the Griffins their first shot on goal of the contest early in the second half. AB got on the scoreboard in the 72nd minute after the Griffins were whistled for a foul in the box. The Batllers converted the PK to take a 1-0 lead. In the 80th minute, the Griffins nearly tied it but
Anton Dupont Linden's shot hit the cross bar.
Both teams registered seven shots in the second half.
Yuriy Kryskiv and Panko each registered two shots. White finished with seven saves.
The Griffins will return home on Wednesday afternoon when they host Frostburg State in a non conference matchup.
