Griffins, Bobcats Play to 0-0 Tie

Seton Hill returned to action with a home non conference contest with Frostburg State on Wednesday afternoon.  Neither team was able to find the back of the net in 110 minutes of action as the teams played to a 0-0 draw.  SHU is now 1-1-1 on the season while the Bobcats are 1-0-1.

In the first half, the Griffins outshot the Bobcats by a 4-2 margin.  Corner kicks were even at two a piece.  The Griffins forced the Frostburg keeper to make two saves in the half.

The offense then picked up in the second half as the teams combined for 15 shots with SHU holding an 8-7 advantage.  Each goalkeeper made one save in the second half.

In the first overtime period, neither team mustered up much offense as each team managed just one shot, neither on goal.  Angelos Markakis made a save for the Griffins in the second overtime period with under two minutes to play to keep the game scoreless.

Archie Lock finished with two shots on goal while Yuriy Kryskiv added one.  Markakis made two saves in net.

SHU will next travel to Millersville on Saturday for another non conference matchup.
