The Griffins closed out the Cedarville Tournament hosted by Findlay with a matchup with Catawba on Saturday morning. Seton Hill won the first set but Catawba rallied to win the final three sets for a 3-1 win over the Griffins. SHU falls to 0-3 to start the season.
Seton Hill opened the match with a 25-19 win in the first set. Catawba took the second set by a 25-17 score and then won the third set by a 25-20 margin. Catawba closed out the match with a 25-20 win in the fourth set.
Paige Cole paced the Griffins with 12 kills.
Bobbi Rempe added 11 from the middle.
Mara Yahner finished with nine kills and
Elizabeth Ward added eight.
Riley Rock ran the offense with 26 assists.
Carrie Leazer led SHU with 17 digs. Rempe added three blocks.
SHU will return to action next weekend at the Malone Tournament.
