Seton Hill made the second trip to Clarion in five days as they played a make up game from the contest that was rained out last week. The team's played 110 minutes and both teams scored once in a 1-1 tie. SHU is now 3-2-1 overall and 2-2-1 in PSAC West play while Clarion is 2-2-1 overall and 2-2-1 in PSAC West play.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first half. Clarion outshot the Griffins by a 5-3 margin in the half. Both team finished with two corner kicks in the half.
Lindsey Pazdziorko finished with two saves in the half.
Alyssa Neast hit the crossbar with a shot in the half.
Just over ten minutes into the second half,
Corynna Rotoli gave the Griffins a 1-0 lead on her first collegiate goal. With less than 14 minutes to play in regulation, the Golden Eagles tied the score at one. Padziorko made three saves in the second half.
In the first ten minute overtime period Clarion outshot the Griffins by a 2-1 margin. Padziorko made one save in the period. SHU had the only corner kick in the half.
Neither team produced a shot in the second overtime period.
Rotoli ended the game with two shots on goal.
Olivia DeLeonibus and
Abigail Skatell each added a shot on goal. Padziorko finished with six saves.
SHU will host Indiana (PA) on Wednesday afternoon in another PSAC West contest.
