Seton Hill and West Chester met in the PSAC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon in West Chester. It was the Griffins first appearance in the PSAC title game.
West Chester opened each half with a 6-0 run which was too much for the Griffins to overcome in a 19-8 loss. SHU falls to 13-2 overall while the Rams stay perfect on the season with a 13-0 record.
The Rams scored the first six goals of the contest, the first one just 12 seconds into the contest, as they built a 6-0 lead with 23:48 to play in the first half. The Griffins battled back thanks to a 3-0 run which gave them some momentum in the remainder of the half.

Alyssa Ference scored in the Griffins 3-0 run as they cut the lead to 6-3 midway through the first half.
Two in a row for the Lakers pushed their advantage back to five at 8-3. The Kada sisters, Kristi and Kate scored back to back for the Griffins as they trimmed the lead to 8-5 with 9:18 left. West Chester scored the final goal of the half and took a 9-5 lead into the halftime break.
The Rams held a 15-12 advantage in shots in the half and a slight 8-7 advantage in draw controls.
The second half started the exact way the first half did with the Rams scoring the first six goals of the half. That 6-0 run extended the lead to ten at 15-5 with 22:07 to play in the game. Ference and
Kate Kada scored for the Griffins as they trailed 16-7 midway through the second half.
Jaclyn Frank scored the final goal of the contest for the Griffins.
West Chester held a 32-20 advantage in shots and a 16-12 advantage in draw controls in the contest.
Kate Kada led the Griffins with three goals. Ference finished with two and Frank added a goal and assist.
The Griffins now await their fate for the NCAA Tournament. The 12 team field will be announced on Sunday evening at 8:30 PM on NCAA.com. SHU was second in this week's NCAA Atlantic Regional rankings.
