The Griffins made a short trip down Interstate 70 to California, PA for a PSAC West contest with the Vulcans on Wednesday evening under the lights. Seton Hill scored the game winner in the second half as they defeated the Vulcans 1-0 in their final road contest of the season. SHU improves to 6-9-1 overall and 5-9-1 in the west. CalU falls to 3-12-1 overall and 3-11-1 in the west.
Neither team was able to crack the scoreboard in the first half. Both teams registered seven shots in the half. CalU held a 2-1 advantage in corner kicks in the half.
Lindsey Pazdziorko recorded four saves in the first half.
Just over ten minutes into the second half, the Griffins broke the scoreless tie.
Alexis Garia had the ball in the midfield and slotted a pass to
Corynna Rotoli who got behind her defender and beat the keeper with a shot to the lower left hand side of the net. Rotoli gave the Griffins a 1-0 lead with 33:20 to play in the half. Pazdziorko kept the clean sheet with two more saves in the second half.
Seton Hill outshot the Vulcans by a 12-11 margin. SHU also held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Rotoli led the Griffins with two shots on goal.

SHU will close out the season with a home contest with Edinboro on Saturday.
