GREENSBURG - The Seton Hill University men's lacrosse team completed their first true come-from-behind victory when they overcame a first half deficit to defeats Georgian Court, 10-7, in non-conference on Saturday in Greensburg.
// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill improves to 6-0 on the year, while Georgian Court evens their record at 4-4.
• Kevin Mo (6-0) grabbed 15 saves in the win.
• GCU's Austin Geissel was sensational in goal for the Lion. The Senior GK routinely turned away the SHU offense, gabbing 24 saves in the loss.
// SHU LEADERS
• Logan Maloni led the offense with four goals and two assists for six points.
• Thomas Hanulak chipped in two goals, while Ryan Manbeck, Robert Hofseth, Zack Estabrooks, and Peyton Gensler all came away with a goal.
// HOW IT HAPPENED
• Down 5-3 at the half, the Griffins rattled three goals to start off the third quarter and take their first lead of the game. Goals from Maloni and Ryan Manbeck evened the game at 5-5 with 12:02 remaining in the third before another goal from Maloni gave SHU their first lead of the game, 6-5, with 11:28 to go. GC would answer with a goal at 5:36, but Peyton Gensler's goal with just 22 seconds remaining gave SHU a 7-6 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Georgian Court's goal just a minute into the fourth quarter tied the game at 7-7, but SHU would respond with goals by Robert Hofseth, Thomas Hanulak, and Zack Estabrooks on their way to the 10-7 win.
