ST. LEO, FL - The Seton Hill University women's lacrosse team scored seven second-half goals against St. Leo, but the Griffins' could not hold back a late Lion surge en route to the 12-11 setback.

Taylor Fox-Trudel (Whitby, Ontario, Everest Academy) both had a goal in the game.

Jaclyn Frank (Hauppauge, NY, Hauppauge) chipped in assists on the night.

Emma Haley (St Charles, IL, St Charles) had 5 draw control wins.

Kamille Ward (Royersford, PA, Springford) grabbed 15 saves in all 60:00 played in the net.
// HOW IT HAPPENED
• Down 7-4 early in the second half, the Griffin's went on a 5-0 run over just seven minutes of play to take a 9-7 lead with 22:14 remaining in the final frame.
Elizabeth Tamasitis got the run started with a goal at 29:08 followed by a
Kate Kada goal at 28:15.
Alyssa Ference tied the game up at 7-7 with a goal at 24:38, and
Kristi Kada's goal at 23:58 gave SHU their first lead since midway through the first half. The run ended when Ference scored her fourth goal of the day to give SHU a 9-7 lead. After Tara Palermo's goal cut the lead to 9-8 with 17:55 remaining, Ference would score again to give SHU a 10-8 advantage with 16:05 to go. A goal from
Taylor Fox-Trudel at 14:33 give SHU a three-goal cushion, St. Leo would run off four unanswered goals the rest of the way for the 12-11 win.
