The Griffin baseball team closed out its three game set at Coker looking for a sweep on Sunday afternoon.
Seton Hill scored in seven of the nine innings in route to a 14-4 win over the Cobras, completing the three game sweep. SHU is now 3-0 on the season while the Cobras fall to 6-5.
SHU scored three times in the top of the first inning and never looked back in the win.
Derek Orndorff led off the game with a single and scored when
Tommy Pellis homered to left field to put the Griffins in front 2-0.
Tyler Zaluski drew a walk, stole second and scored on an
Isaiah DiAndreth single to make it 3-0.
Seton Hill added a run in the second on a two out solo homer from Orndorff. The Griffins added a single run in the third on another RBI single from DiAndreth.
After a Pellis lead off single,
Tanner Froehlich made it 7-0 with a two run shot to left in the fourth. They added another run off an error in the inning to make it 8-0.
Pellis tripled in
Adam Bankovich who doubled and scored on a Froehlich groundout to put the Griffins in front 10-1 in the fifth inning. Bankovich then homered with one out in the seventh inning.

Jack Oberdorf and
Brandon Kline each drove in runs in the ninth inning.
Pellis went 4-4 with 3 RBIs including a triple and homer. Bankovich was 3-3 with two doubles and a homer. DiAndreth adds 3 hits. Orndorff and Zaluski each finished with 2 hits. Orndorff and Tanner Froehlich each also homered.
SHU will head to Thomasville, NC next weekend for three contests.
