// HOW IT HAPPENED
• After the Griffin's took a 15-14 lead into the second quarter of play, the Rock would outscore SHU by a 25-12 margin to take a 36-27 lead into halftime. Slippery Rock would keep Seton Hill at bay for much of the third quarter as they would lead by as many as 14 twice, but an 11-3 run over the final three minutes of the third cut that lead down to just three, 50-44, heading into the fourth quarter. Three quick points in the fourth quarter pushed that lead to nine, 53-44, but Seton Hill would go on a 16-6 run to take their first lead since early in the second quarter, 60-59, with 3:10 remaining in the game. After two Rock free-throws tied the game at 61-61, Lexi Civittolo's layup regained the lead with just 1:08 to go in the regulation. A Rock on the following possession tied the game at 63-63 with 54 seconds to go. After the Griffin's were called for an offensive charge on the following possession, Rock's Leeann Gibson drove to the bucket and earned the foul with just one seconds remaining. She would make the first and intentionally miss the second, but one was all they needed to seal the win, 64-63.
