Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

SHU Falls To Cal (PA)

GREENSBURG. -  The Seton Hill University men's basketball team outscored California University of Pennsylvania, 42-32, in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome a 24 points first half deficit on Wednesday evening inside the Katherine Mabis McKenna Center in Greensburg.

// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill slips to 2-11, 1-9 PSAC on the year.
• California (PA) improves to 11-5, 7-3 PSAC.

// INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• The Vulans came out blazing the net by making 21-of-34 shots (61.76%) in the first half, including 7-for-12 from three point range, on their way to a 56-32 halftime lead. Although the SHU defense would limit the Vulcans to a pedestrian 9-for-23 (39.1%) in the second half, the deficit was too much to overcome.
Jimmy Moon led the Griffins with a double-double 16 points and 10 rebounds. Kealen Coats netted a season-high 12 points, and Samuel Tabe had 10.
• Cal (PA) was led by Luke House's 27 points.
• The Seton Hill bench outscored Cal's by a 33-13 margin with only seven Vulcans seeing action on the evening. The Griffin's had 19 second chance points, compared to just nine for Cal U.
