Box Score The Seton Hill women's soccer team opened their 2019 season on the road in Charleston, WV on Thursday afternoon when they met Mountain East foe Concord.  The Mountain Lions scored a late goal in the second half for a 1-0 season opening win.

Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard in the first half.  Concord held a 6-2 advantage in shots and a 5-1 advantage in corners in the half.  Elyza Pilatowski-Herzing kept Concord off the scoreboard with three saves in the half. 

Pilatowski-Herzing was able to keep Concord off the scoreboard for the first 35 minutes of the second half but the Mountain Lions were able to finally break through in the 83rd minute for the game winning goal. 

Pilatowski-Herzing ended the contest with 7 saves.

SHU will return to the pitch on Saturday when they meet Charleston at 1 PM.
