Seton Hill hosted Lake Erie on Tuesday evening in a non conference matchup.
The Griffins were able to improve to 4-1 on the season with a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Storm.
SHU used a quick 4-0 run to build a 15-11 first set lead on two kills from
Jillian Livorse. A kill and an ace from
Viktoria Farian gave SHU a 1-0 lead with a 25-16 first set win.
Seton Hill took an early 5-1 lead in the second set. The Griffins were able to pull away in the set with a 6-1 run to build a 17-9 lead. SHU was able to take a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-16 second set win.
The Griffins closed out the match with a 25-20 third set win.
Viktoria Farian led the Griffins with 12 kills.
Jessica Hanson added 9 kills.
Jillian Livorse,
Lauren Nelson and
Erin Parks each added 5 kills.
Taylor Sabol led the offense with 37 assists. Farian and
Cameron Baril each reached double figures with 11 digs.
Bobbi Rempe led the Griffins with 2 blocks.
SHU will hit the road to Ohio this weekend when they meet Findlay on Saturday and Hillsdale and Tiffin on Sunday.
