In recognition of college football's 150th season, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference recognized a group of individuals who have been distinguished as the PSAC's Top 150 Contributors.

Six Griffins were named to the Top 150.  They included AJ Erni, Antwarn Jones, Nick McGaghan, Chris Snyder, Sammy Tranks and Tyler Zimmer.

Erni was a three time All Conference selection at offensive line while on the hill.  He was also a member of the university's first football team.  AJ was named to the Seton Hill Athletics Hall of Fame with the Class of 2019.

Jones was also a three time All Conference selection.  He starred in the Griffin backfield and is the school's all time leader in rushing yards, attempts and touchdowns.  Antwarn holds the longest run in school history at 98 yards and will be a part of this year's class in the Seton Hill Athletics Hall of Fame.

McGaghan was a member of the team from 2008-11 and was also a three time All Conference pick.  He is the school's leader in tackles for loss and is second in school history in total tackles.

Snyder played an integral role in bringing football to the hill.  Snyder was named the school's first football coach and led the program for three seasons before stepping down to take over a full time role as Seton Hill's Athletic Director.

Tranks was electric on the field as a wide receiver and kick returner.  He was a two time All American and was named the Returner of the Year in 2008.  Sammy holds the Seton Hill career records in kick and punt return yardage and touchdowns.  He is second all time in receiving yards and receptions.

Zimmer played three seasons at Seton Hill where he was a first team All American following the 2012 season.  He was also a two time Academic All American and PSAC Fall Top 10 Award winner.  Zimmer holds the SHU career record for sacks and is fifth all time in tackles.

With various league and campus wide celebrations planned for the upcoming season, nominees were comprised of representatives from each member institution.  Those in consideration were identified by each institution as individuals who had made significant contributions to college football.

To determine the final 150, guidelines were in place to have representation from each submitting institution.  A committee of seven of the league's former SIDs then made selections to finalize the PSAC's 150 Contributors.

The PSAC is honored to present this group as representatives of the countless student athletes, coaches, administrators and other contributors to the 150 years of college football.
