Seton Hill opened their four game PSAC West set with Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon. The Griffins used a walk off single in the eleventh inning for a 4-3 win. SHU completed the sweep with a 5-3 win in game two. SHU is now 12-11 overall and 4-2 in PSAC play.
The Griffins jumped on the Rock in the second inning.
Parker Denny singled and stole second. He stole third when
Colton Carney walked.
Bayley Jamanis singled thru the right side to knock in Denny. Carney and Jamanis then executed a double steal to give SHU a 2-0 lead.
Slippery Rock answered right back with three runs in the top of the third inning. The final two on a two run shot to left field.
SHU tied the score at three in the fourth. After one out, Denny and
Ryan Grieco singled. After a pop out, Jamanis singled to tie the score at three.
The game remained tied at three until the eleventh inning.
Chris Law led off the inning with a single. He moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from
Adam Bankovich.
Tommy Pellis was walked intentionally.
Brandon Kline then ended the game with a single to center field that scored Law.
Kenny Wells with 4.2 innings of one hit relief to earn the win.

SHU took the lead in the first inning of game two. With two outs, Pellis reached on an infield single. He stole second and scored when Denny singled thru the left side of the infield.
They added two more runs in the second on a two RBI single from Pellis. Kline led off the inning with a single and
Frank Montecalvo was hit by a pitch. Mike Connell moved the runners up with a bunt before Pellis' 2 RBI single.
The Rock got one run back in the top of the fourth inning, They tied the score with a two run shot to left field in the fifth.
The Griffins took the lead in the sixth. Kline singled and scored when
Andrew Chuba hit a two out pinch hit bomb to left center field that gave SHU a 5-3 lead.
Grieco, Pellis, Denny and Kline each had two hits.
George Coyle earned the win for the Griffins.
Christian Seelhorst earned the save.
SHU returns to action on Sunday when they scheduled to play at Slippery Rock.
