The Fighting Scots took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins with three hits in the top of the first inning.  Edinboro added to their lead with a run in the third and two more in the fourth to take a 4-0 lead.

The Griffins got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the sixth.  Devyn Terry drew a leadoff walk.  Pinch runner Megan Miller scored when Chelsea Rohan cleared the left field fence for a two run shot that cut the lead to 4-2.

Both Rohan and Jenna Osikowicz each had two hits for the Griffins.

SHU took a 1-0 lead over Edinboro in the first inning of game two.  Brooke Bower led off the game with a perfectly placed bunt.  She scored when Osikowicz doubled over the left fielders head.

Edinboro tied the game at one with an unearned run in the third inning.  The game remained tied until the eighth inning.

Pinch hitter Raelyn McGarry led off the eighth with a walk.  She moved to second when Nichole McClendon reached on a bunt single.  Bower drew a 3-2 walk to load the bases.  Osikowicz sent the fans home happy when she reached on an error that allowed McGarry to scamper home with the game winning run.
