GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill University softball team dropped a pair of games to Shippensburg University, 5-3 and 3-2, in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at the Seton Hill University Softball Complex in Greensburg.

// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill falls to 9-7 on the year
• Alexis Vargas had the day's only homer with a solo shot to left field in the 3rd inning of Game Two.
• Brooke Bower batted a combined 4-7 on the day (2-4 in Game One, and 2-3 in Game Two).
• Devyn Terry (4-3) picked up the Game One loss, spending the first 3.0 innings in the circle and giving up 5 runs on seven hits. Terry struck out two and walked five.
• Skyla Greco (5-4) got the Game Two loss, pitching all 7.0 innings and surrendering three runs on eight hits. Greco struck out five and walked four in the effort.

// GAME ONE
• Jenna Osikowicz and Devyn Terry registered RBI's in a 2nd innings that saw the Griffins take a 2-1 lead over Shippensburg. However, the Raiders would score two in the second and another two in the 3rd to take a 5-1 lead. Brooke Bower's triple to left center did score Alexis Vargas in the 5th, but it wasn't enough as SHU fell in Game One, 5-3. 

// GAME TWO
• Alexis Vargas' solo shot to left field in the 3rd inning gave SHU a 1-0 lead. In the 4th, Christiana Skrabak's single to right field scored Chelsea Rohan to put SHU ahead, 2-0. But, Shippensburg would score three runs in the fifth on their way to the narrow 3-2 win.
