Seton Hill continued its weekend of baseball with a pair of games on Saturday afternoon. SHU dropped game one of the doubleheader to Millersville 10-6. The Griffins earned a split with an 11-9 win over LeMoyne in game two. SHU is now 7-8 on the season.
Millersville scored single runs in the first and third innings to take a 2-0 lead over the Griffins. The Marauders could have had more but
Michael Bryja stranded runners at second and third after they got there with no one out.
The Marauders added three more runs in the top of the fifth to increase their lead to 5-0. SHU responded with a five spot in their half of the fifth.
Colton Carney led off with a walk and stole second. Carney scored on a
Jordan Fiedor single.
Nick Stotler drew a walk and
Tommy Pellis greeted the reliever with a three run homer to trim the lead to 5-4.
Parker Denny followed with a solo shot to tie the game at five.
Millersville added three unearned runs in the sixth to retake an 8-5 lead.
SHU got one run back in the eighth.
Chris Law led off with a double and scored on a pinch hit single from
Tyler Peterson.
Denny led the offense with 2 hits.
LeMoyne took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins with an unearned run in the top of the third inning.
SHU took advantage as the LeMoyne defense imploded, committing four errors in the third inning to take a 3-1 lead.
The Dolphins retook the lead with a five spot in the fourth inning to take a 6-3 lead. SHU retook the lead with four in the bottom half of the inning. Both Law and Pellis had infield RBI singles and
Andrew Chuba knocked in two with a triple.
SHU added to their lead in the fifth with three more runs to take a 10-6 lead.
Isaiah DiAndreth doubled in Denny and
Ryan Grieco added an RBI single to knock in DiAndreth in the inning.
The Griffins added an insurance run in the eighth. Pellis doubled with an out and scored on a two out single from Denny.
Pellis led the Griffins with 3 hits.

Jared Kollar earned his first win of the season in relief.
George Coyle picked up his third save with two innings of work.
SHU returns to action on Sunday when they will meet Millersville at 3 PM.
