After returning from Florida over the weekend, the Griffins women's lacrosse team made the trip east to take on Jefferson on Tuesday afternoon. SHU jumped out to an 11-1 halftime lead and rolled to a 15-4 victory. Seton Hill is now 2-3 on the season.
Seton Hill jumped on Jefferson taking a quick 4-0 lead just over five minutes into the contest.
Keagan Pontious started the scoring for the Griffins.
Taylor Fox-Trudel scored twice in less than twenty seconds to take a 3-0 lead.
Mackenzie Kilduff closed out the 4-0 run for SHU. After Jefferson scored a goal, SHU closed out the half on a 7-0 run to build an 11-1 halftime lead. Alyssa Ferrence and Pontious scored twice during the run.

Katelyn Cressman and Kilduff each scored once.
Kate Kada and Kilduff answered a Jefferson goal early in the second half to give SHU a 13-2 lead with just over 17 minutes to play.
Alexis Dailey and Ferrence closed out the scoring for the Griffins.
Pontious, Kilduff and Ferrence led the offense with 3 goals. Pontious also added an assist. Fox-Trudel finished with 2 goals and an assist. Kada and Ingram added a goal and assist.
Kyleigh Hessian finished with 6 saves in the win.
SHU will continue their road trip on Saturday at #9 East Stroudsburg.
