Seton Hill hosted #19 Indiana (PA) on Saturday afternoon at Offutt Field for Senior Day as they honored eleven seniors playing in their final home game.

Ryan Barabe and
Kinan Humphrey combined for three touchdown passes but it was not enough as IUP defeated the Griffins by a 50-23 score. SHU falls to 2-6 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC West while IUP improves to 8-1 overall and 5-1 in the west.
IUP won the toss and used a 75 yard touchdown run to take a 7-0 lead early in the first half. On their next possession, the Griffin defense stopped IUP twice from the one yard line and forced a turnover on downs. SHU started at their one yard line but on their third play were stopped in their endzone for a safety. IUP led 9-0. IUP carried that 9-0 lead into the second quarter.
On their first possession of the second quarter, IUP increased their lead to 16-0 with a two yard touchdown pass. With 4:42 to play in the half, IUP increased their lead to 23-0 with a two yard touchdown run. With fifty seconds to play, SHU took over on their 34 yard line. A big pass of 34 yards from Barabe to
Matthew Williams moved the ball to the seven yard line setting up a 24 yard field goal from
Hunter Miller. SHU trailed 23-3 at the half.
IUP increased their lead to 30-3 on their first drive of the second half with a 52 yard touchdown run.
Fardan Allen intercepted a pass and gave SHU the ball at their own 48 yard line. Four plays later Barabe hit Humphrey with a 10 yard pass for their first TD of the game. After recovering the onside kick, IUP needed just four plays to push the lead back to 27 at 37-10 with 4:08 to play in the quarter.
The Crimson Hawks increased their lead to 43-10 on their first drive of the fourth quarter. SHU answered right back with a nine play, 68 yard drive, the last seven on a Barabe to Humphrey pass. SHU trailed 43-16 with 10:11 to play.
Zakh Williams blocked a punt to give SHU good field position at their own 47 yard line. Barabe connected with Humphrey on another seven yard pass to cut the lead to 43-23 with 5:09 to play. IUP closed out the scoring with a 26 yard pass late in the quarter.
Barabe finished 32-58 for 366 yards and 3 touchdowns. Humphrey caught 12 passes for 142 yards and three touchdowns. The three touchdowns tie a SHU single game record.
Michael Elardo caught 8 passes for 101 yards.
Jayden Emberton-Gaines led the defense with 9 tackles.
SHU will end PSAC West play next weekend as they travel to California (PA) for a 4 PM kickoff.
