SHEPHERDSTOWN - The Seton Hill University women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Shepherd University in PSAC action on Saturday.

• Seton Hill now stands with a record of 5-7 (1-3 PSAC) on the year.
• Viktoria Farian (14), Jillian Livorse (6), Jessica Hanson (4) led SHU in Kills.
• Livorse and Carrie Leazer each had two aces
• Farian (14), Taylor Sabol (8), and Leazer (8) led in digs.
// HOW IT HAPPENED
• After falling by a score of 25-16 in the first set, the Griffins battled from down 10-5 to eventually take a 15-14 lead in the second set. With the Rams up by two, 23-21, the Griffins scored three straight to take a 24-23 lead. However, Shepherd would go on to take the second set, 26-24, and lead 2-0. Seton Hill came out strong in the third set for the first two points, but eventually found themselves in an 18-13 hole. Kills from Bobbi Rempe and Jillian Livorse followed by an ace from Cambriea Hill narrowed the gap to just two, 18-16. Trailing 21-17, Viktoria Farrian would run off three straight kills to pull to within just one, 21-20. The Griffins would regain the lead, 23-22, off of a Veronica Johns ace. With SHU leading 24-23, Shepherd responded with two straight points to grab a 25-24 advantage. The two teams would go back-and-forth over the next few points, but the Rams would close out the set scoring three straight points to take the match, 3-0.

• The Griffins look to get back to their winning ways when they welcome Lock Haven and Bloomsburg into the McKenna Center next weekend. SHU is scheduled to take on Lock Haven on Friday at 7:00 PM, and Bloomsburg on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
