Seton Hill opened a pair of games this weekend with a non conference matchup with Lindenwood on Friday afternoon.
Lindenwood scored goals in each quarter for a 5-0 victory over the Griffins.
Midway thru the first quarter, the Lions opened the scoring to take a 1-0 lead over the Griffins.
The Griffins nearly kept the Lions off the scoreboard in the second quarter but they were able to score right before the halftime buzzer to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
Emma Jorgensen recorded 5 saves in cage in the first half.
Lindenwood scored twice in the third quarter to extend their lead to 4-0. They closed out the scoring in the fourth quarter with a goal with just under eight minutes to play in the game.
Four Griffins each recorded a shot on goal in the contest. Jorgensen finished with 5 saves while
Elizabeth Armbruster added 4 saves.
SHU will host East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon at noon for Senior Day. The Griffins will honor five seniors before the match.
