GREENSBURG. - Seton Hill came back from down 2-0 to defeat Bloomsburg in five sets (23-25, 22-25, 25-12, 25-8, 15-7) Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference volleyball action at the Katherine Mabis McKenna Center at Seton Hill University.
// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill evens their overall record at 7-7, including 3-3 in the PSAC.
• Bloomsburg slips to 6-13 overall and 1-6 in the PSAC.
• Viktoria Farian eclipsed the 20 kill mark for the fourth time this season.
• Jillian Livorse and Veronica Johns registered two aces apiece.
• Farian, Bobbi Rempe, and Jessica Hanson all came away with three blocks.
• Johns had a match-high 33 digs.
• Before the match, former Seton Hill volleyball player Maggie Murray. Murray, who graduated in 2017 and was attending LECOM Dental School in Florida, tragically passed away in 2018 and her number 9 jersey was officially retired by the team in a ceremony beforehand.
// HOW IT HAPPENED
• Falling behind 2-0 on scores of 25-23 and 25-22, the Griffin's came out of the break and completely controlled the next three sets. Seton Hill would win the third set by a score of 25-12, the fourth set by a score of 25-8, and the fifth and final set by a 15-7 margin.
