Seton Hill returned home on Saturday afternoon as they hosted Edinboro in a PSAC West contest. The Griffins led for 31:47 in the contest but the Fighting Scots outscored the Griffins 30-20 in the fourth and final quarter to rally for a 69-64 victory. After trailing 4-2 early in the contest, the Griffins went on an 11-0 run over a four minute stretch to take a 13-4 lead midway thru the quarter.
Megan Marecic scored seven of the eleven points during the run. The Scots ended the run with a three pointer but a tip in from
Katie Nolan and a three point play from

The third quarter was where the game started to slip away from the Griffins. They were able to build their lead to eleven twice on three pointers from
Lexi Civittolo and
Courtney Cecere but a late 5-0 run by the Scots cut the Griffins lead to five at 44-39 heading to the fourth quarter. The Griffins were not able to extend their lead in the quarter despite holding the Scots to shooting just 4-21 from the floor. SHU shot the same 4-21 from the floor in the quarter which did not allow them to push the lead into double digits.
Edinboro opened the scoring in the fourth quarter but two free throws from Cecere pushed the lead back to five just under a minute into the quarter. Marecic answered a three pointer from Edinboro with one of her own that put SHU back in front 54-53 midway thru the quarter. That would be the last lead the Griffins would hold. Over the next 2:45 the Scots went on an 8-0 run to take a 61-54 lead with 2:23 to play. Another three from Marecic cut the lead to five at 64-59 with 50 seconds to play.
